Yi Ch’ang-ho retains Wangwi, Yoda tightens grip on Gosei

Yi Ch’ang-ho (Lee Chang Ho) beat challenger Ok Deukjin (a lowly 2-dan) on Friday, winning by 2.5 points. This win meant that Yi retained his Wangwi title 3-1, after he lost the first game of the title match by resignation to Ok.

On the Japanese Go scene, challenger Yuki Satoshi 9-dan resigned his second game in the Gosei title match against Yoda Norimoto on Friday.
