Victor goes down in Internet World Champs

Due to his opponents’ lack of co-operation in scheduling a game, Victor was finally awarded a default win in the first round of the final stage of the 10th Internet World Amateur Go Tournament (Pandanet Cup). Unfortunately, Victor was eliminated in the second-round (quarterfinals), going down by 18.5 points to another IGS 7d+, nipparat. The Canadian, greenhouse, was also eliminated in the second round, by the top seed, kentarou (8d+). As a result, all 6 remaining players are Japanese.
