Konrad claims WC Meijin title

Konrad Scheffler, 1-dan, beat Andrew Davies by 12.5 points in the second game of the best-of-3 final in the Western Cape Closed tournament yesterday. As a result, Konrad wins the final 2-0, and with his victory, becomes the first player to claim the title of Western Cape Meijin.

Congratulations, Konrad.

    Think of the pictures as having “character”!

    I didn’t want to intrude too heavily, and there’s only so much a camera phone can do in the Touch of Madness’s “atmospheric” lighting conditions.
