Cho goes 2-0 in Judan final; Ch’oe evens Maxim Cup final

Cho Chikun beat challenger Yamashita Keigo by resign; while Ch’oe levelled the Maxim Cup final at 1-1 after beating Yi Se-tol by resignation. The deciding game of the Maxim Cup final will be played on 4 April.

Meanwhile the Chinese qualifiers for the final stage of the NEC Cup are underway, and Chang Hao was one of the players that suffered an upset in these preliminaries. This was just his second loss in 16 games so far this year.
