Cape Town – One week venue change
Just for this week “A Touch of Madness” is not available to us (they are having their own year end party). So, for Tuesday the 19th of December only, we have found a temporary venue.
We will meet at the restaurant “Out of China” in Klipfontein Road, Mowbray. Time: from 7:45. Plan to eat something, they are not expensive.
We are planning a Variants evening (you may have seen Konrad’s email). It should be fun.
If you do not regularly play at Cape Town, please let the restaurant know so they can provide an extra seat/s. Booking is under Lloyd.
Directions from the N2:
Leesbeek Parkway Turnoff, head South
First traffic lights, turn left into Klipfontein Road.
Past one set of traffic lights, “Out of China” is on the left, towards the end of the block.

Site down
Sorry the site was down, folks.
There were delays in getting things done in America which needed doing. Mostly out of our hands 
Things on the site are still a bit buggy, but my thesis and Christmas etc. are keeping me busy. Hopefully things will start righting themselves over time. If there’s anything specific that’s bothering you, or you’d like to submit feature requests for the website, or something that used to work and now isn’t, please e-mail me about it (kroon@sun.ac.za), or leave a comment.

Stellenbosch rank changes
After last week’s games, Adrian Thom has been demoted to 14 kyu, while Steve Kroon has been promoted to 1 kyu.
Steve’s promotion is a milestone for the Stellenbosch club, as it is the first time a player has achieved a promotion to 1 kyu at the club.
