History
Paul Edwards was very involved in getting the Soweto Go club underway.
In 1997, Sello Leopeng was the contact person for the club, and the club only met on Wednesdays, at the Metsi Community Centre in Dobsonville.
This club has delivered a number of strong players, with 2 players achieving 1-dan: Welile Gogotshe and Julius Paulu. Julius will also be representing South Africa at the World Amateur Go Championships in Japan in 2006.
